  1. Hahaha. I won’t be able to survive for 13 days if I lose my phone. I will die a violent death of disappointment, depression, anxiety, hallucination, and other mayhems that I can’t name at the moment.

      • You’re almost at 100! The initial 100 are most important, believe me. Your habit has formed already as you’re close to 60 days and it’s unlikely to feel demotivated beyond this point. And oh, I’ve definitely had to use streak freeze to protect me on some “cheat days” 😉 I even used one recently.
Btw, K-pop is the reason for your interest in Korean, right? 😀

      • That’s encouraging, yes I do feel like my habit is sturdy by now. The streak is still impressive even with using streak freezes!😉
Actually, I only know a handful of K-pop songs. I want to listen more because I’m sure it will help me get a better “ear” for the language. The reason I’m learning is because my husband is Korean. if we ever have kids I would want them to know at least a little bit of Korean! So that’s my motivation😁

      • Aww that’s the sweetest thing I’ve heard all day! That explains the dedication. It’s wonderful that you want your future kids to learn their father’s language. I asked that because most people are so madly obsessed with K-pop. I’ve seen more than a bunch of people on Duolingo learning Korean with k-pop artists as their dp.
Also, I would have never guessed you were old enough to be married! (Although I now remember reading in your older post). Hope you have a wonderful day! 💕

      • YESSS in the duolingo forums, it’s almost all K-pop fans, they hardly discuss the language itself because they’re so focused on their favorite artists. I’m 25 years old, but I felt like a grandma when reading those forums!! I was like WHAT are they talking about?? why do they keep saying “Army”??? Lol!
I hope you have a lovely day as well my friend♡
